TERMS OF SERVICE
E-RICKSHAW/ CAB
ROLE OF BHROMON App
- BHROMON App only provides a technology platform that connects intending travelers with E-Rickshaw / CAB operators. It doesn’t operate any vehicles or offer the service of transportation to the User. BHROMON App also doesn’t act as an agent of any vehicle operator in the process of providing the above-mentioned technology platform services.
- BHROMON App acts as a facilitator connecting intending customers to E-Rickshaw/CAB operators offering sale of Services. Accordingly, the contract of sale of services on the Website is strictly a bipartite contract between the User and the E-Rickshaw/CAB operator listed on the Website.
- The E-Rickshaw/CAB booking information which Bhromon issues to a User is solely based on the information provided or updated by the vehicle operator regarding the availability.
- The amenities, services, routes, fares, schedule, vehicle type, availability and any other details pertaining to the E-Rickshaw/CAB service are provided by the respective E-Rickshaw/CAB operator and Bhromon App has no control over such information provided by the bus operator.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY OF BHROMON
In its role as a technology platform to facilitate transactions between the E-Rickshaw/ CAB operators and the Users, Bhromon App shall not be responsible for the operations of the E-Rickshaw/CAB operator including, but not limited to the following:
a)Timely departure or arrival of the E-Rickshaw/CAB;
b) The conduct of E-Rickshaw/CAB operator's employees, representatives or agents;
c) The condition of the E-Rickshaw/CAB, seats etc. not being up to the customer's expectation or as per the description provided by the E-Rickshaw/CAB operator;
- Cancellation of the trip due to any reasons;
- Loss or damage of the baggage of the customer;
- The E-Rickshaw/CAB operator changing a customer's seat for any reason whatsoever;
- E-Rickshaw/CAB operator informing a wrong boarding point for the issuance of the booking confirmation voucher, or changing such boarding point eventually with or without any notification to E-Rickshaw/CAB or the User;
- E-Rickshaw/CAB operator using a separate pick-up vehicle to transport the User from the designated boarding point to the actual place of departure of the bus.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE USERS
- Users are advised to call the E-Rickshaw/CAB operator to find out the exact boarding point, or any information which they may need for the purpose of boarding or travel in that trip.
- At the time of boarding the E-Rickshaw/CAB, Users shall furnish a copy of the ticket, and any valid identity proof like aadhar card, passport, PAN card or voter identification card or any other identity proof issued by a government authority.
- Users are required to reach the boarding place at least 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
- All tickets issued shall be non-transferable.
CANCELLATION OF BOOKING
- Cancellation of booking can be done through the User’s login in the mobile application, or by calling on the customer care number;
- Any cancellation is subject to such cancellation charges as mentioned on the booking information.
- User needs to compulsorily obtain a E-Rickshaw/CAB Bookingt at the regular fare E-Rickshaw/CAB operator specifies otherwise in their terms and conditions.
GENERAL TERMS:
- ‘User’ shall have the same meaning as provided under the User Agreement including Driver and Rider as defined in the following clauses.
- ‘Driver’ refers to a User who offers his/her private vehicle for E-Rickshaw/CAB
- ‘Rider’ refers to a User who avails the E-Rickshaw/CAB service being offered by a Driver.
- ‘Trip’ refers to a ride provided by a Driver or utilized by a Rider as per the terms mentioned under hereunder.
- ‘Bhromon App Money’ refers to amounts credited to a Driver from a Rider for a given Trip. Bhromon App earned cannot be used or redeemed except as provided in this Terms of Service.
- ‘Bhromon App Wallet’ refers to online account provided by Bhromon to each of its User(s) to pay or receive Bhromon Money for a given Trip.
- Bhromon reserves its rights to amend the Terms of Service, at any time, by updating the amended terms on the Website.
ROLE OF BHROMON:

- Bhromon merely provides an online platform and connects a Rider with a Driver, travelling on the common coordinates or route. It allows User (Driver/ Rider) to E-Rickshaw/CAB together as co-traveler for non-commercial purpose and such trips taken by such co-travelers shall be construed neither to offer a “hire” by the Rider nor a “reward” to the Driver in any manner.
- Bhromon is neither to be considered as transportation carrier nor provider of service of transportation of any form or manner.
- Bhromon doesn’t guarantee the delivery of service between a Driver and a Rider. It is the sole discretion of Driver to decide whether to offer a Trip to a Rider or not.
- Booking a ride through Bhromon App does not constitute a commercial relationship between the User and Bhromon.
- Bhromon has no role in deciding the route of a Trip and destination cost, same is pre-determined and mutually agreed between a Driver and a Rider.
- Bhromon shall not be liable qua the information provided by a Driver or a Rider. Neither shall Bhromon be liable with respect to quality of the vehicle or any other factors with respect to the Ride.
USER OBLIGATIONS:
Users agree that:
- They will always abide by the terms mentioned under the instant Terms of Service. Any breach will lead to suspension of User account with immediate effect.
- They will not indulge during the course of the trip into any activity which is illegal and is in violation of any law of India.
- Both Driver and Rider shall be responsible for their acts and behavior towards each other and any disputes arising out of Bhromon between the Driver and the Rider shall be dealt independently by them.
- They shall provide sufficient proof of identity to the other User whenever sought by them in addition to that available through Bhromon.
- They shall reach the mutually agreed meeting point on the agreed time. In case, if any User fails to adhere the same, the other User shall have the right to cancel the Trip without any extra cost or liability.
- They shall not discriminate or harass anyone on the basis of race, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, physical or mental disability, medical condition, marital status, age or sexual orientation.
- User agrees that insurance, if any provided as a part of the service or product by Bhromon shall be as per the terms and conditions of the third-party insurance company. Bhromon merely acts as a facilitator in connecting the User with insurance company. The User shall contact the insurance company directly for any claims or disputes. Bhromon shall not be held liable in case of partial acceptance or denial of the claims by the insurance company.
OBLIGATIONS OF A DRIVER:
- Driver should (a) have a valid driving license and other necessary documents/ licenses issued by the appropriate authority in India, (b) follow all traffic rules and regulations of the respective state/ union territory, (c) use only a private vehicle owned by him or which is authorized to be used by him, (d) ensure that the vehicle is in proper working condition and adequate / appropriate insurance policies are obtained for the vehicle, its users and other relevant third parties.
- Driver to enroll himself /herself as User must submit to Bhromon all necessary documents including driving license, RC, insurance etc. along with any other relevant document required for KYC purpose while enrolling for Bhromon
- Driver shall not provide the Trip for the purpose of hire or reward, non-compliance of which may cause delisting the him from Bhromonl and also other penal actions under applicable laws.
- The Driver shall not charge any amount directly from the Rider, he will be entitled to the Bhromon Money as may be applicable for each Trip. The aforesaid Bhromon Money are designed to cover only the proportionate costs that may be incurred by a Driver for each Trip and to encourage commuters to E-Rickshaw/CAB for the larger benefit of reducing pollution.
- The Driver shall keep all necessary documents including but not limited to driving license, RC, insurance, pollution under control certificate etc. in the vehicle at the time of the Trip. Driver also undertakes to present the same to the Rider if a Rider shows an intent to verify the same.
- The Driver will be solely responsible as owner and driver of the vehicle in its individual capacity and in such capacity shall bear all liabilities which may result due to operation of the vehicle during such Trip, including but not limited any legal liability, accidents, physical injuries or death etc.
- Driver will use the only vehicle that has been registered with Bhromon and shall not offer a ride in the vehicle to any other unverified person while a Rider is on board.
- Each Driver is entitled to a maximum of 4 trips daily.
- Driver may take up to maximum of 4 Riders and 1Rider in case of E-Rickshaw and CAB respectively. However, the Driver is at liberty to offer a Trip to less than the limit mentioned herein.
- Driver shall report in the event:
- The Rider is different from the one enlisted for pickup.
- of any suspicious behavior by any of the Rider.
- Rider violates any law laid down by central or state government.
- The Driver shall always obey the traffic rules, speed restrictions while driving the vehicle to ensure safe rider for himself and the Rider(s). Any Driver who is found to be violating the traffic rules or speed restrictions, driving in inebriated state or under the influence of alcohol, or misbehaving with the Riders, shall be delisted from Bhromon without prejudice to any other legal remedies Bhromon may have.
OBLIGATIONS OF A RIDER
- Rider shall upload and submit all the documents prescribed for KYC check while registering for Bhromon App
- Before riding on the vehicle, Rider will be fully responsible to verify the details of the vehicle and the Rider as per the details received from Bhromon upon successful booking of the ride. Rider will not make any payment whether in cash or in kind, though as compensation for the running cost of the vehicle and for the service availed by the Rider, certain amount of Bhromon Money shall be automatically deducted from the wallet of Rider and will be credited to the wallet of Driver, immediately upon the completion of trip.
- Rider shall respect the Driver, and treat the Driver’s vehicle or any other property of the Driver with due care and diligence and will be responsible for the loss or damage to the vehicle, Driver or any other person or property that may result out of his behavior or action while on board.
- Rider shall immediately report to Bhromon us in case of any of the below events so as to enable red Bus take appropriate action :
- If the pick up is offered by any vehicle or person details of which does not match with the information received from Bhromon upon successful booking of ride;
- If Driver violates any traffic rules, any other laws;
- If Driver demands any payment or other compensation from him.
- If there is any other person already present in the vehicle other than as reflected at the time of booking or the Driver gives a ride to any other unverified person during the trip.
- Rider shall cooperate with Driver in obeying the traffic rules and / or speed restrictions while utilizing the ride. Any Rider who is found to be taking a ride in an inebriated state or under the influence of alcohol, or misbehaving with the Driver or other co-Riders, shall be delisted from Bhromon without prejudice to any other legal remedies Bhromon may have.
PRICING AND PAYMENT TERMS
- In Bhromon certain amount is exchanged between the Driver and the Rider for a given Trip basis the Bhromon Money agreed upon between both Driver and Rider for the distance travelled.
- Bhromon has a capping on fixation of maximum Bhromon Money for every kilometer to be travelled on a given Trip. The maximum BhromonMoney that can be charged by a Driver from a Rider is as follows:

- However, the Driver is at liberty to offer a Trip at lowers points than mentioned above.
- Bhromon currently does not charge any fee from either the Rider or the Driver the User(s) of Bhromon however, it may start charging a service fee from the User(s) in future to cover operational expenditure.
- Cash payment is strictly prohibited. Neither Driver(s) nor Rider(s) are permitted to make or accept payments in cash under any circumstances.
- Rider shall be under obligation to recharge its Bhromonl Wallet so that it has sufficient balance to cover the cost of the ride which will be transferred to the Bhromon Wallet of the Driver at the end of the trip. As a process, at the end of each Trip, Bhromon Wallet of a Rider will be automatically debited with the Money for that Trip and be credited to the Driver’s Bhromon Wallet.
- For any payment or other related issues, User may write to us at bhromon@co.in. The Bhromon Money earned by the Driver cannot be withdrawn as cash or to a bank account.
- The Driver can however redeem the same for vouchers of Bhromon or any entity with which Bhromon may enter into a business tie-up. The details of those tie-ups will be communicated by Bhromon from time to time through its website or to the Drivers over email; or
- The promotional/bonus Bhromon Money credited to any User’s Bhromon Wallet will be strictly for the purposes of availing E-Ricshaw/CAB services on Bhromon. User will not be allowed to redeem for purchase of any goods or services from any other merchant or seek refund of these Bhromon Money by withdrawing cash.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
- Bhromon merely provides a platform to Riders and Drivers to connect with each other for a private E-Ricksha/CAB service and is not liable for any loss or damage that the User may incur while availing or providing the same.
- Though the Driver(s) and Rider(s) while registering on Bhromon go through a KYC process, they are also required to perform due diligence to ensure that the information provided on Bhromon matches a Driver or a Rider.
- User shall indemnify Bhromon against any such loss, damage, claims etc. that may be incurred by Bhromon due to the acts or omission of a User.
CANCELLATION CHARGES
- If the Tour is cancelled for any reason what-so-ever, including cases of voluntary cancellation by the User, the cancellation charges as mentioned in the brochure or the itinerary will apply. In the absence of any such information, the following cancellation charges will apply:

- REFUNDS
- Bhromon is only a facilitator and any refund for any service(s) which are not delivered by the service provider /Independent Contractors or for any reason for which the User is entitled for a refund is subject to Bhromon receiving the amount from the said service provider. User acknowledges that Bhromon shall not be held liable for any delay in refund or non-refund of the amount from the respective service provider or Independent Contractors of Bhromon. In such events the User shall directly approach the service provider for any claims.
- In case the User makes any changes in their accommodation while on the Trip, Bhromon shall not refund or pay compensation in any manner whatsoever. The User would also be liable to pay any additional sum that is required to be paid consequent to the aforesaid changes made in the accommodation.
- In the event of any delay in the refund beyond the period specified herein, the entire liability of Bhromon shall be refund of the said amount with interest calculated at the applicable bank rate till the date the refund is made.
AMENDMENTS
- In the event of Bhromon amends or alters any tour or holiday after such a tour or holiday has been booked, the User shall have the option to continue with the tour or holiday as amended/ altered, or to accept any alternative tour or holiday which Bhromon may offer.
- In either of these cases above, the User shall not be entitled to nor Bhromon be liable to the User for any damage, additional expenses or consequential loss suffered by the User. Bhromon’s liability in such cases shall be only to refund the amount of the cost of the said tour to the User (after deducting applicable cancellation charges, and other overheads as applicable from case to case, without any interest on the same.
PROMOTION & DISCOUNTS
- Bhromon may, from time to time, launch some promotions and discount offers on the booking package internally or externally through advertisements and some Users might receive additional benefits due to entitlement to such promotion and discounts. No claims from other Users booking a similar tour or package for such privileges shall lie if they are not entitled for the discounts or eligible under the promotion.
- In case of publication of any travel scheme offering any discount or benefit by Bhromon, Bhromon shall have the sole right to withdraw such a scheme or discount at any time.
ROLE OF BHROMON
- Bhromon only provides a technology platform that connects intending travelers with operators to hire an entire vehicle. It doesn’t operate any vehicle or offer the service of transportation to the User. Instead fulfillment of these bookings is done by operators who are empanelled with Bhromon. Bhromon also doesn’t act as an agent of any operator in the process of providing the above-mentioned technology platform services.
- The Vehicle booking voucher which Bhromon issues to a User is solely based on the information provided or updated by the vehicle operator.
- The amenities, services, fares, routes, schedule, vehicle type and any other details pertaining to the bus service are provided by the respective vehicle operator and Bhromon has no control over such information provided by the bus operator or fulfillment of the same.
ROLE OF BHROMON AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- Bhromons role is limited to facilitating the procurement of an Activity service to the User from the concerned Activity Provider. The transaction or the service fulfilment relation is always between the User and the Activity Provider.
- Bhromon shall not provide pick up and drop facility for any Activity unless otherwise explicitly mentioned in the confirmation of the reservation.
- Bhromon shall not be liable or responsible for:
Any damage or loss, injury, accident, death, breakdown, irregularity, delay/change in schedule, cancellation without cause, inaccurate information, deficiency of service/product, or cancellation due to conditions not under the control of Activity Provider;
The health, safety and well-being of the User in the course of availing the Activity or thereafter;
Any incidental or ancillary services which is directly purchased by the User from the Activity Provider;
Any incorrect information provided by the Activity Provider.
The maximum liability of redBus will be limited to refund of booking amount which was received by Bhromon for reservation of the Activity.
- USER’S RESPONSIBILITY
- The E-Ricshaw/CAB operator shall solely be liable for compliance of all laws including but not limited to the Motor Vehicle Act its Rules, applicable regulations, guidelines or directions enacted or issued by the Central Government or relevant State Governments. Any prosecution arising out of the contravention of such laws, rules, regulations, guidelines including directives on fare control from respective RTO’s or directions including but not limited to fines or penalties shall be borne by the vehicle operator. The User agrees to take up any grievance resulting from cancellation or any deficiency in services due to any action of the enforcement agencies arising with the bus operator.
Privacy Policy
A. INTRODUCTION:-
Bhromon recognizes the importance of privacy of its users and also of maintaining confidentiality of the information provided by its users as a responsible data controller and data processor.
This Privacy Policy provides for the practices for handling and securing user's Personal Information (defined hereunder) by Bhromon. This Privacy Policy is applicable to any person (‘User’) who purchases, intends to purchase, or inquire about any service(s) made available by Bhromon through any of Bhromon’s customer interface channels including its website, mobile app & offline channels including call centers and offices (collectively referred herein as "Sales Channels").
For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, wherever the context so requires "you" or "your" shall mean User and the term "we", "us", "our" shall mean Bhromon. For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, Website means the website(s) and mobile app(s).
By using or accessing the Website or other Sales Channels, the User hereby agrees with the terms of this Privacy Policy and the contents herein. If you disagree with this Privacy Policy please do not use or access our Website or Mobile App.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to any website(s) and mobile apps of third parties, even if their websites/products are linked to our Website. User should take note that information and privacy practices of Bhromon’s business partners, advertisers, sponsors or other sites to which Bhromon provides hyperlink(s), may be materially different from this Privacy Policy. Accordingly, it is recommended that you review the privacy statements and policies of any such third parties with whom they interact.
This Privacy Policy is an integral part of your User Agreement with Bhromon and all capitalized terms used, but not otherwise defined herein, shall have the respective meanings as ascribed to them in the User Agreement.
B. USERS OUTSIDE THE GEOGRAPHICAL LIMITS OF INDIA
Please note that the data shared with Bhromon shall be primarily processed in India and such other jurisdictions where a third party engaged by Bhromon may process the data on Bhromon’s behalf. By agreeing to this policy, you are providing Bhromon with your explicit consent to process your personal information for the purpose(s) defined in this policy. The data protection regulations in India or such other jurisdictions mentioned above may differ from those of your country of residence.
If you have any concerns in the processing your data and wish to withdraw your consent, you may do so by writing to the following email id: privacy@bhromon.co.in. However, if such processing of data is essential for us to be able to provide service to you, then we may not be able to serve or confirm your bookings after your withdrawal of consent. For instance, if you want to book a E-Rickshaw or CAB journey, then certain personal information of yours like contact details, gender, location details etc. may have to be shared by us with our E-Rickshaw/CAB operator and they may further process this information for making suitable arrangements for your journey.
A withdrawal of consent by you for us to process your information may:
- severely inhibit our ability to serve you properly and in such case, we may have to refuse the booking altogether, or
- Unreasonably restrict us to service your booking (if a booking is already made) which may further affect your trip or may compel us to cancel your booking.
C. TYPE OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND ITS LEGAL BASIS
The information as detailed below is collected for us to be able to provide the services chosen by you and also to fulfill our legal obligations as well as our obligations towards third parties as per our User Agreement.
"Personal Information" of User shall include the information shared by the User and collected by us for the following purposes:
1. Registration on the Website: Information which you provide while subscribing to or registering on the Website, including but not limited to information about your personal identity such as name, gender, age etc., your contact details such as your email address, postal addresses, telephone (mobile or otherwise) numbers. The information may also include information such as your banking details (including credit/debit card) and any other information relating to your income and/or lifestyle; billing information payment history etc. (as shared by you).
2. Other information: We many also collect some other information and documents including but not limited to:
- Transactional history (other than banking details) about your e-commerce activities, buying behavior.
- Your usernames, passwords, email addresses and other security-related information used by you in relation to our Services.
- Data either created by you or by a third party and which you wish to store on our servers such as image files, documents etc.
- Data available in public domain or received from any third party including social media channels, including but not limited to personal or non-personal information from your linked social media channels (like name, email address, friend list, profile pictures or any other information that is permitted to be received as per your account settings) as a part of your account information.
- Information pertaining any other traveler(s) for who you make a booking through your registered Bhromon account. In such case, you must confirm and represent that each of the other traveler(s) for whom a booking has been made, has agreed to have the information shared by you disclosed to us and further be shared by us with the concerned service provider(s).
D. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
The Personal Information collected maybe used in the following manner:
1. While making a booking:
While making a booking, we may use Personal Information including, payment details which include cardholder name, credit/debit card number (in encrypted form) with expiration date, banking details, wallet details etc. as shared and allowed to be stored by you. We may also use the information of travelers list as available in or linked with your account. This information is presented to the User at the time of making a booking to enable you to complete your bookings expeditiously.
2. We may also use your Personal Information for several reasons including but not limited to:
- keep you informed of the transaction status;
- Your usernames, passwords, email addresses and other security-related information used by you in relation to our Services.
- send booking confirmations either via SMS or Email or any other messaging service;
- send any updates or changes to your booking(s);
- allow our customer service to contact you, if necessary;
- customize the content of our website and mobile app;
- request for reviews of services or any other improvements;
- send verification message(s) or email(s);
- Validate/authenticate your account and to prevent any misuse or abuse.
3. SURVEYS:
We value opinions and comments from our Users and frequently conduct surveys, both online and offline. Participation in these surveys is entirely optional. Typically, the information received is aggregated, and used to make improvements to Website, other Sales Channels, services and to develop appealing content, features and promotions for members based on the results of the surveys. Identity of the survey participants is anonymous unless otherwise stated in the survey.
USER GENERATED CONTENT (UGC)
Bhromon provides an option to its users to post their experiences by way of review, ratings and general poll questions. The customers also have an option of posting questions write a service offered by Bhromon or post answers to questions raised by other users. Bhromon may also hire a third party to contact you and gather feedback about your recent booking with Bhromon. Though the participation in the feedback process is purely optional, you may still receive emails, notifications (SMS, Whatsapp or any other messaging service) for you to share your feedback. The reviews may be written format. The reviews written or posted may also be visible on other travel or travel related platforms.
The UGC that Bhromon collect may be of the following kinds:
- Review and Ratings
- Question and Answers
- Crowd Source Data Collection (poll questions).
4. MARKETING PROMOTIONS, RESEARCH AND PROGRAMS:
Marketing promotions, research and programs help us to identify your preferences, develop programs and improve user experience. Bhromon frequently sponsors promotions to give its Users the opportunity to win great travel and travel related prizes. Personal Information collected by us for such activities may include contact information and survey questions. We use such Personal Information to notify contest winners and survey information to develop promotions and product improvements. As a registered User, you will also occasionally receive updates from us about fare sales in your area, special offers, new Bhromon services, other noteworthy items (like savings and benefits on E-Rickshaw/CAB rentals and other travel services) and marketing programs.
In addition, you may look forward to receiving periodic marketing emails, newsletters and exclusive promotions offering special deals.
From time to time we may add or enhance services available on the Website. To the extent these services are provided, and used by you, we will use the Personal Information you provide to facilitate the service(s) requested. For example, if you email us with a question, we will use your email address, name, nature of the question, etc. to respond to your question. We may also store such Personal Information to assist us in making the Website the better and easier to use for our Users.
Bhromon may from time to time launch reward programs by way of which users may stand to win travel related rewards or other rewards. We may use your Personal Information to enroll you in the rewards program and status of the same will be visible each time you log in to the Website. Depending on the reward program, each time you win a reward, Bhromon may share your Personal Information with a third party that will be responsible for fulfilling the reward to you. You may however choose to opt out of such reward programs by writing to us. For various purposes such as fraud detection, offering bookings on credit etc., we at times may verify information of customers on selective basis, including their credit information.
E. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Bhromon will retain your Personal Information on its servers for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes listed in this policy. In some circumstances we may retain your Personal Information for longer periods of time, for instance where we are required to do so in accordance with any legal, regulatory, tax or accounting requirements.

2. Automatic Logging of Session Data:
Each time you access the Website your session data gets logged. Session data may consist of various aspects like the IP address, operating system and type of browser software being used and the activities conducted by the User while on the Website. We collect session data because it helps us analyze User’s choices, browsing pattern including the frequency of visits and duration for which a User is logged on. It also helps us diagnose problems with our servers and lets us better administer our systems. The aforesaid information cannot identify any User personally. However, it may be possible to determine a User's Internet Service Provider (ISP), and the approximate geographic location of User's point of connectivity through the above session data
G. WITH WHOM YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IS SHARED
1. Service Providers and suppliers:
Your information shall be shared with the end service providers like E-Rickshaw/CAB service providers, e-rickshaw/cab rental who are responsible for fulfilling your booking. You may note that while making a booking with Bhromon you authorize us to share your information with the said service providers.. It is pertinent to note that Bhromon does not authorize the end service provider to use your information for any other purpose(s) except as may be for fulfilling their part of service. However, how the said service providers use the information shared with them is beyond the purview and control of Bhromon as they process Personal Information as independent data controllers, and hence we cannot be made accountable for the same. You are therefore advised to review the privacy policies of the respective service provider or supplier whose services you choose to avail.
Bhromon does not sell or rent individual customer names or other Personal Information of Users to third parties except sharing of such information with our business / alliance partners or vendors who are engaged by us for providing various referral services and for sharing promotional and other benefits to our customers from time to time basis their booking history with us.
2. COMPANIES IN THE SAME GROUP:
In the interests of improving personalization and service efficiency, we may, under controlled and secure circumstances, share your Personal Information with our affiliate or associate entities.
If the assets of Bhromon are acquired, our customer information may also be transferred to the acquirer depending upon the nature of such acquisition. In addition, as part of business expansion/development/restructuring or for any other reason whatsoever, if we decide to sell/transfer/assign our business, any part thereof, any of our subsidiaries or any business units, then as part of such restructuring exercise customer information including the Personal Information collected herein shall be transferred accordingly.
3. BUSINESS PARTNERS AND THIRD-PARTY VENDORS:
We may also share certain filtered Personal Information to our corporate affiliates or business partners who may contact the customers to offer certain products or services, which may include free or paid products / services, which will enable the customer to have better travel experience or to avail certain benefits specially made for Bhromon customers. Examples of such partners are entities offering co-branded credit cards, travel insurance, insurance cover against loss of wallet, banking cards or similar sensitive information etc. If you choose to avail any such services offered by our business partners, the services so availed will be governed by the privacy policy of the respective service provider.
Bhromon may share your Personal Information to third party that Bhromon may engage to perform certain tasks on its behalf, including but not limited to payment processing, data hosting, and data processing platforms.
We use non-identifiable Personal Information of Users in aggregate or anonymized form to build higher quality, more useful online services by performing statistical analysis of the collective characteristics and behavior of our customers and visitors, and by measuring demographics and interests regarding specific areas of the Website. We may provide anonymous statistical information based on this data to suppliers, advertisers, affiliates and other current and potential business partners. We may also use such aggregate data to inform these third parties as to the number of people who have seen and clicked on links to their websites. Any Personal Information which we collect and which we may use in an aggregated format is our property. We may use it, in our sole discretion and without any compensation to you, for any legitimate purpose including without limitation the commercial sale thereof to third parties.
Occasionally, Bhromon will hire a third party for market research, surveys etc. and will provide information to these third parties specifically for use in connection with these projects. The information (including aggregate cookie and tracking information) we provide to such third parties, alliance partners, or vendors are protected by confidentiality agreements and such information is to be used solely for completing the specific project, and in compliance with the applicable regulations.
4. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
In addition to the circumstances described above, Bhromon may disclose User's Personal Information if required to do so:
- by law, required by any enforcement authority for investigation, by court order or in reference to any legal process;
- to conduct our business;
- for regulatory, internal compliance and audit exercise(s)
- to secure our systems; or
- to enforce or protect our rights or properties of Bhromon or any or all of its affiliates, associates, employees, proprietor or officers or when we have reason to believe that disclosing Personal Information of User(s) is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing interference with our rights or properties, whether intentionally or otherwise, or when anyone else could be harmed by such activities.
Such disclosure and storage may take place without your knowledge. In that case, we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any damages howsoever arising from such disclosure and storage.
H. HOW CAN YOU OPT-OUT OF RECEIVING OUR PROMOTIONAL E-MAILS?
You will occasionally receive e-mail updates from us about fare sales in your area, special offers, new Bhromon services, and other noteworthy items. We hope you will find these updates interesting and informative. If you wish not to receive them, please click on the "unsubscribe" link or follow the instructions in each e-mail message.
1. PERMISSIONS REQUIRED FOR USING OUR MOBILE APPLICATIONS
When the Bhromon app is installed on your phone or tablet, a list of permissions appear and are needed for the app to function effectively. There is no option to customize the list. The permissions that Bhromon requires and the data that shall be accessed and its use is as below:
1. Android permissions:
- Device and App history: We need your device permission to get information about your device, like OS (operating system) name, OS version, mobile network, hardware model, unique device identifier, preferred language, etc. Basis these inputs, we intend to optimize your travel booking experience.
- Identity: This permission enables us to know about details of your account(s) on your mobile device. We use this info to auto-fill your email ID’s and provide a typing free experience. It also helps us map email ID’s to a particular user to give you the benefit of exclusive travel offers, wallet cash-backs, etc. It also allows facilitating your Facebook login.
- Location: This permission enables us to give you the benefit of location specific deals and provide you a personalized experience. When you launch Bhromon app to make a travel booking, we auto-detect your location so that your nearest city is auto-filled. We also require this permission to be able to help you track your E-Rickshaw/CAB with respect to your location.
- SMS: If you allow us to access your SMS, we read your SMS to autofill or prepopulate ‘OTP’ while making a transaction and to validate your mobile number. This provides you a seamless purchase experience while making a booking and you don’t need to move out of the app to read the SMS and then enter it in the app.
- Phone: The app requires access to make phone calls so that you can make phone calls to E-Rickshaw/CAB operators, and our customer contact directly through the app.
- Contacts: If you allow us to access your contacts, it enables us to provide a lot of social features to you such as sharing tickets or location with your friends. This permission also allows you to select numbers from your contacts for mobile recharges done on the app.
- Photo/ Media/ Files: The libraries in the app use these permissions to allow users to to save and upload multimedia reviews.
- Wi-Fi connection information: When you allow us the permission to detect your Wi-Fi connection, we optimize your bandwidth usage for multimedia uploads.
- Device ID and Call information: This permission is used to detect your Android ID through which we can uniquely identify users. It also lets us know your contact details using which we pre-populate specific fields to ensure a seamless booking experience.
- Camera: This permission is used to capture pictures of the boarding point or E-Rickshaw/CAb before the journey. This images can then uploaded as part of multimedia reviews.
- Calendar: This permission enables us to put your travel plans on your calendar.
J. HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
All payments on the Bhromon App are secured. This means all Personal Information you provide is transmitted using TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption. TLS is a proven coding system that lets your browser automatically encrypt, or scramble, data before you send it to us. Bhromon App has stringent security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. Whenever you change or access your account information, we offer the use of a secure server. Once your information is in our possession we adhere to strict security guidelines, protecting it against unauthorized access.
K. WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT AND PERMISSION
You may withdraw your consent to submit any or all Personal Information or decline to provide any permissions on its App as covered above at any time. In case, you choose to do so then your access to the App may be limited, or we might not be able to provide the services to you. You may withdraw your consent by sending an email to privacy@bhromon.co.in
L. YOUR RIGHTS QUA PERSONAL INFORMATION
You may access your Personal Information from your user account with Bhromon. You may also correct your personal information or delete such information (except some mandatory fields) from your user account directly. If you don’t have such a user account, then you write to privacy@bhromon.co.in
M. ELIGIBILITY TO TRANSACT WITH Bhromon
We reserve the rights to revise the Privacy Policy from time to time to suit various legal, business and customer requirement. We will duly notify the users as may be necessary.
N. CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
You must at least 18 years of age to transact directly with Bhromon and also to consent to the processing of your personal data.
